save the date cards

Much like our Wedding Invitation Stationery, Save The Date cards are custom designed to suit the style and vision of our clients.  Many couples prefer to use a shot from their engagement photo session in a prominent location on the Save The Date while others may opt for a style that coordinates with the overall look and feel of their wedding.  Whatever the style, communicating your wedding date to your guests will let them know to expect a formal invitation to your big day!

Do my Save the Dates need to match my Invitations?  Save The Dates can be much less formal.  Have fun with the design and include some great pics from your engagement photo session!

When should I send my Save The Dates?  At least 8 months before your wedding date.  If your wedding is a destination wedding or taking place on a holiday weekend, give your guests even more time to make plans by sending Save the Dates 10-12 months out.

What info should I include?  Odds are you don't have it all figured out yet, so just the basics on these cards...  WHO, WHEN, WHERE.  If you don't have a venue yet, that's OK too.  But include the city/state (or destination) so that out of town guests can start making travel plans.
